William Greenwood Jeffrey, born Clydebank. Midfielder. After retiring he went into non-league management, initially for Irthlingborough Diamonds, becoming assistant to Roger Ashby when they merged with Rushden Town to become Rushden & Diamonds in 1992. He was also assistant to Brian Talbot at Nene Park. He went on to manage Stamford before, most recently, he was in charge of Rugby Town until September 2008. He works full time at a whisky factory.
