York slip, Kiddy don't

Tonight's games in Division Three saw both York and Kidderminster use up their games in hand. York moved up one place to 6th, level on points with United, after being held to a 1-1 draw at Carlisle, who move up to fifth from bottom. Featuring in goal for York this evening was Phil Whitehead, who has joined the Minstermen for one week to provide essential cover for their regular injured 'keepers. Kidderminster won 1-0 at Rochdale and are now just three points outside the play-off zone. The other game in this division saw Shrewsbury consolidate their place in the relegation zone with a 3-2 home defeat to Macclesfield, who move up to 16th and who are now seven points above the drop zone. Not even Nigel Jemson, who scored Shrewsbury's second goal, could save them.
