Wrexham away

Wrexham away

United travel to Wrexham in their brand new McLean's coach tomorrow night for their first away game of the new season and their second successive match against a relegated club. Wrexham will undoubtedly provide tough opposition as they strive for a quick return to the heady heights of Division Two. Managed by former United boss Denis Smith Wrexham lost ten players over the Summer, bringing in only two new faces in Andy Dibble and Paul Edwards.

Lee Steele will no longer be suspended for this game and should be good for a place on the bench, although who will be dropped is difficult to determine – possibly ROS Chris Hackett as he failed to feature on Saturday. United will most likely start with the same eleven as commenced against Bury, that being a defensive line-up more suited to away fixtures. Hopefully the lads will have been told to keep the ball on the floor and not hoof it forward for the diminutive Manny to try and get his head on it.

This will be a tight game and United will be happy to come away with a point. They should be capable of doing so and Rage Online predicts a 1-1 draw at the Racecourse Ground.
