Work doesn't start on Minchery Farm shock

Sensational – Rage Online exclusive!

Yet another twist in the Minchery Farm saga failed to happen today with the news that all United supporters were expecting – contractors' lorries were not seen entering the Minchery Farm stadium compound today, and no work took place on the half-built stadium.

Last week chairman Firoz Kassam failed to announce that work would recommence today, and so the non-appearance of workmen on the construction site must have come as a great disappointment to all those who didn't listen to what wasn't said. It is believed by Rage Online's team of crack reporters (as opposed to crack addicts) that a verbal agreement exists between Kassam and Barr Construction, but signatures have yet to be put on a written contract, hence Kassam's reticence to make an official announcement.

Harford takes charge of Lions

Former United ummm advisor (?) Ray Harford has taken temporary charge of Millwall following the sacking of joint managers Keith Stevens and Alan McLeary. Coincidentally Harford's first game in charge is against Oxford this weekend. It must be nice to start with a win…
