Who's it going to be?

Not Steve Cotterill – he's said that he's quite happy at Cheltenham, thank you very much, although United have approached him. Not Ian Atkins, thankfully, who United haven't approached due to the hundred grand or so that it would cost to buy out his contract. Possibly Steve Coppell, based on media supposition (could they have confused him for Steve Cotterill? Surely not…), possibly Jimmy Quinn, who apparently is ready to apply for the post with Steve Davis as coach, so rumour has it. Martin Allen's name has also been linked with the club (only his name?), but surprisingly we believe that Kevin Keegan isn't being quoted odds, despite quitting the England job to do a straight swap with Denis Smith.
