Warnock's bluff

Another couple of names have today been associated with the vacant manager's post at United. Neil Warnock, currently boss at United's opponents last Saturday, Bury, has been linked to the extent that he has said Oxford have not approached him! Rage Online can confidently claim that Warnock was not one of the interviewees for the post last week and indeed it is slightly disingenuous of Warnock (or his agent) to come out with this load of codswallop!
Also linked, in a more spurious way, has been former Port Vale boss John Rudge who was seen at the Manor last night for the Oxford City v. Wycombe game. Maybe he was there checking out the facilities, but it's far more likely that he was scouting on behalf of someone else. Joey Beauchamp was also at last night's game, but no-one has yet linked him with the job…
