Various bits and pieces

Canadian Gold Cup hero Mark Watson is doubtful for the Burnley game after apparently spilling a hot drink on his foot, silly boy. This leaves the awesome prospect of Steve Davis and Phil Whelan combining to try and stop Ian Wright and co. At least Steve Anthrobus should be fit again as he resumed training yesterday, as did Neil McGowan although apparently it's unlikely that he'll be match fit before the end of the season. At least he'll be ready to resume his place when United sell Powell in the Summer for a fraction of his true value.

Everyone's favourite sausagehead Nicky Banger was sent off whilst playing for Dundee's reserves yesterday after receiving two yellow cards, thus not quite endearing himself to manager Jocky Scott. Scott said “It was just sheer stupidity on the part of the player to get himself involved like this once again… We have three successive home games to round off with and it would be useful to have a winger available on these occasions. Now he will miss one more game and that will not help in our efforts to get him sharp.” Someone should warn him that Banger is never sharp….
