Unreal Madrid

Following the visit of officials from Real Madrid to the KasStad recently, to check out the “revolutionary” new playing surface at the stadium, rumours are circulating that the Spanish giants could well play United in a pre-season friendly this Summer. Apparently the Madridistas wanted to see a match on the pitch to ascertain whether it suited their needs as they are considering laying a similar surface at the Bernebeu, and associate director Brendan Cross suggested that they bring a team over to play against United. Emilio Butragueno didn't rule out the idea and so now that has evolved into a cast iron guarantee that a game will take place. Some people!

The triumph of youth

United's youth team beat Cirencester 1-0 at Iffley Road this morning to virtually seal the championship of their league. If swindon failed to win their game, played later this afternoon, then they would be uncatchable. Unfortunately the swindon result appears to be unannounced by any reputable web site, and also the stfc official page. With the under-19s winning 4-0 at Swansea the future looks reasonably acceptable for United. Of course the best news is that ROS Rob Folland has resumed training following his injury and could feature for the reserves against Cardiff on Wednesday.

Going away

Rage Online won't be updated for a few days as our computer is going away for some much-needed maintenance. Apologies for this, but we hope to resume abnormal service before the weekend.
