United against racism

Rage Online has been sent the latest resource from the “Let's Kick Racism Out of Football” campaign, a joint campaign of Kick It Out and Show Racism The Red Card. It is a poster of the England squad lining up behind a banner bearing the above slogan, well over one million copies of which will be distributed in the run up to the European Championships this summer. Beneath the poster is a list of the organisations which sponsored it, consisting mainly of footballing bodies such as the FA Premier League, the PFA, the FA and the Football Trust, and local authorities including Oxford City Council. There is just one sole football club amongst the list of sponsors: Oxford United FC. Well done United for backing this initiative, alone amongst football clubs throughout the land.
