They will now face Oxford United at the Kassam in a repeat of last season's final, which Oxford won 2-1 with goals from Eddie Hutchinson and Declan Benjamin. Benjamin, now at Banbury, was on the scoresheet tonight, along with Lewis Hilliard and Marvin Martin, on loan to Banbury from United.

In the Conference, leaders Stevenage Borough pulled four points clear of Oxford with an unconvincing 1-0 win over Histon, Jon Ashton scoring the goal. Luton Town moved to just one point behind United, having played two games more, with a 3-1 win over Kidderminster Harriers. York City moved back into the play-off places with a 1-0 win at Mansfield Town, thanks to a Courtney Pitt goal and the dismissal of Luke Foster for the Stags. York climbed above Kettering Town, who lost 2-0 at Altrincham.

At the foot of the table it was a bad day for second-bottom Forest Green Rovers, who lost 3-1 at 18th-placed Gateshead. Barrow came from behind to beat Wrexham 2-1 and climb to 20th place. Cambridge United's revival continued with a 3-1 win over Salisbury City, having been 1-0 down.
