Today's results saw both Stevenage Borough and Ebbsfleet United go above United. Stevenage won 2-0 at bottom club Lewes, while Ebbsfleet beat tenth-placed Weymouth 1-0. The Terras are United's next opponents, in Dorset on Tuesday.
In the relegation zone, Northwich Victoria are second bottom after losing 4-1 at Eastbourne Borough, for whom Ashley Barnes scored twice to see Borough go above Mansfield Town into 18th place. Grays Athletic went above Northwich into 22nd place after winning 1-0 at 15th placed York City. Forest Green Rovers remain 21st after losing 3-2 at home to Burton Albion, who remain at the top of the table.
Up top, Histon remain second after beating 20th-placed Woking 1-0, while Torquay United are still third despite only drawing 0-0 with Cambridge United, who have dropped to sixth place. Kidderminster Harriers have moved up to fourth after beating 17th-placed Salisbury City 3-2, while Crawley Town's 4-0 win over 14th-placed Altrincham takes them back into the play-off zone. Jamie Cook was on target for Crawley.
Mid-table games saw the points shared between Rushden & Diamonds, in eighth place, and Barrow, who are 16th. Seventh-placed Wrexham beat ninth-placed Kettering Town 2-1. In the Southern League Midlands Division, AFC Sudbury drew 1-1 at home to Bury Town in front of a crowd of 376.
