Oxford United manager Chris Wilder has announced his retained list of out-of-contract players to keep ahead of next season. Three players out of eight were handed new deals by the club, with the remaining five being released with immediate effect. Goalkeeper Wayne Brown and midfielders Asa Hall and Adam Chapman have been told they can enter new negotiations to extend their contracts at the Kassam Stadium.

Hall has improved significantly in the second half of the season, netting seven league goals from his attacking role in the centre, helping United gain points against such teams as Plymouth Argyle and Rotherham United. Brown has impressed between the sticks in his few appearances for the Yellows since an abdominal injury ruled out number one Ryan Clarke, whilst Chapman has slotted nicely into United
