The latest FOULMouth, (number 5), is now posted onto the FOUL website. It is also being distributed (for free, natch) before the Stoke game tomorrow.
United go looking for their first double of the season tomorrow (yeah, right!) as Stoke City visit the Manor. There is a slim possibility that Ross and Simon Weatherstone may both play at some stage, becoming the first brothers to play together for the club since Graham Atkinson and his older sibling.
Cambridge United have apparently signed Stoke's midfielder Jason Kavanagh on a free. Interesting because the Oxford Mail has him lined up to play us tomorrow.
Former United striker John Durnin has left Portsmouth to join Third Division Carlisle on a month's loan. He previously rejected afree transfer to Second Division Blackpool.
Derby manager Jim Smith has been charged with misconduct by the FA after claiming that referee Mike Reed was biased in favour of Manchester United. Mike Reed? Biased? Surely not…?
Former golden boy (literally) Mark Angel is being linked with a move from West Brom to Darlington.
United's reserve fixture at home to swindon has been moved from Wednesday evening to Wednesday afternoon at 1.00pm to allow directors to attend the open meeting at 7.30. Presumably this means that Mickey Lewis and Ray Harford can also attend, although whether they will remains to be seen.
Meanwhile on Wednesday night the reserves lost 2-1 at Portsmouth, with Ross Weatherstone scoring for United. Kevin Francis played the first 45 minutes. The Pompey scorers were Miglioranzi and Lovell.
