It was a bad day for division three clubs in the FA Cup today.

Lee Nogan gave York City the lead against Barnsley, but the Tykes turned things around to win 2-1. Huddersfield and Darlington both lost to non-League opposition. Huddersfield went down to a last minute goal at Accrington Stanley and Darlo lost 2-0 at Hornchurch.

Only Southend survived and they had to settle for a home draw against neighbours Canvey Island after going a goal up in the second minute.
