Oxford United get another chance this Thursday to take three points from a Wiltshire team, when they face Salisbury City for the second time in two weeks. The Us slumped to a disappointing 2-1 loss at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium on Boxing Day, in front of over 1,200 United fans, slightly outnumbering the home fans. Once again a bumper crowd was let down, but United started to make up for it on Sunday with a 5-1 demolition of Ebbsfleet United in front of an equally impressive 5,100 home fans.

Little Sam Deering suffered a devastating injury in that Boxing Day match; breaking his leg and rupturing his ankle ligaments.
