Strange days

Oxford United look to finish what they started when they travel to Dorchester Town for their FA Cup fourth round replay tonight. The Us drew 0-0 with their opponents at The United Stadium last Saturday, but after missing a host of chances they almost lost it when Dorchester scored a disallowed goal in the second minute of injury time. United slipped to a disappointing 2-0 away defeat at Grays Athletic on Saturday, continuing their run of poor away form that has seen just two draws and one win from nine away matches.

United still wait on the fitness of key player Luke Foster, while Darren Patterson may look to re-jig his strike force after James Constable yet again failed to find the net in their last match. Patto may again consider using youth on his bench, with seven subs allowed; players like Richard Groves and Matt Taylor are knocking on the door.

Dorchester went down 2-0 to Hampton & Richmond on Saturday, conceding their first goals in just under a month. Star of the last match, and former United trialist, Gareth Stewart will again look to keep a clean sheet. He is, rather predictably, Dorchester
