Raging Fever 7 Old Amersham Players 1

Raging Fever made it eight wins on the bounce with a resounding win over the Old Amersham Players (OAPs). The hot weather and long walk to the pitch took its toll on the aging visitors, and it was Fever who started in the ascendancy. After only three minutes, debutant Joe was upended in the box by Kevin Whelan, and referee Vince had no hesitation in pointing to the spot. John Matthews stepped up and, despite barracking from the visitors, kept his cool to thump the ball home.
