Oxford announced their latest signing today, and there is unlikely to be a more popular one this close season. Glaswegian left-back Steven Kinniburgh, who had an immensely successful loan spell with the club earlier this season, has driven down to sign a two-year deal.
In his last spell at United, Kinni played 15 games and scored a spectacular chipped goal from 30 yards against Crawley Town. He won two Rage Online readers Man of the Match polls, against Crawley and Forest Green Rovers. Kinniburgh will be vying for the left-back spot with Anthony Tonkin but he can also play further forward if necessary.
Meanwhile, Sam Deering appeared for the FA Representative XI in their game against the East of Scotland League last Wednesday. Deering set up Rushden & Diamonds' Max Porter for the only goal of the game and was the Non-League Paper's Man of the Match. He is also in the squad for England C's Challenge Trophy game against the Republic of Ireland in Waterford this Wednesday. [@player]kinniburgh, steven[/@player]
