Lee Hodges won't be coming to Oxford after all. He today signed for Paul Simpson's Rochdale, boosting their promotion credentials whilst dealing United a blow. Oxford desperately need a creative midfielder, and it's possible that triallist Adam Locke could fulfill that role.

Former United striker Phil Gray has joined Aldershot Town where, hopefully, the pace will be more to his liking. Simon Marsh, sold to Birmingham for £250,000 before being injured, has joined Kettering Town.
