Scunny preview

United's next game is at Scunthorpe this Saturday, where they will be hoping to secure their first away win since Hartlepool in October. In the absence of any team news the possible line-up is more of a wish list. The hope is that United will start with the same line-up as finished at Rushden, with Dean Whitehead in for Robert Quinn (on a permanent basis) and Chris Hackett for Sam Stockley (ditto). Richard Knight also did enough at Rushden to justify retaining his place, whether Andy Woodman is fit or not. The only question is whether Paul Moody will be able to cope with any more exercise, as he appeared somewhat immobile at Nene Park. Phil Gray could be in line for a recall. One hopes the above is not considered too judgemental by those who would pass judgement upon us (or is that a pompous statement?).

Scunthorpe are currently in eighth place, just one point outside the play-off zone, and will be confident of beating a struggling United side. It would be difficult to argue with their optimism and Rage Online can't help but feel that the home side will beat United 1-0. Needless to say, we hope we're wrong.
