From the Rage Online newsdesk Saturday, March 26th, 2005

There were three fourth division games played this afternoon. Yeovil extended their lead at the top to four points with a 2-1 win at Boston. The most significant aspect of this result is that the Pilgrims don’t go above Oxford, so United remain in the top half of the table.

Surprise result of the day occured at Darlington, where second-bottom Kidderminster won 2-0 to do their own hopes of survival the power of good, leaving them just one point below Rushden. Darlington drop a place to eighth, going below Northampton on goal difference, and leaving United still nine points below the play-offs, but with a game in hand. Mark Rawle scored his first goal for the Harriers, getting their second in the 90th minute.

The other fixture saw Bristol Rovers win 2-1 at Notts County, with Richard Walker scoring the Pirates’ second. Meanwhile heartiest congratulations go to Didcot Town, who won 1-0 at Jarrow Roofing to ease into the FA Vase final 2-0 on aggregate. The final takes place at White Hart Lane on 15 May.
