Round up

Only four Division Three fixtures survived the frozen weather today, and results in three of them didn't go Oxford's way. Rushden & Diamonds, in second place, pulled further away from United with a 2-0 win at Kidderminster to leave them just two points behind Hartlepool and 12 ahead of Oxford, who have four games in hand on them. Scunthorpe moved up to third after beating Leyton Orient 2-1 and Torquay beat York 3-1 to go up to fourth, despite being a goal down early on. In the day's other game Hull City were 2-0 up against Exeter but the Grecians fought back for a draw despite having a man sent off. This point lifts Exeter above Bristol Rovers and out of the relegation zone.

United have dropped to sixth after today's results, but could go back to third on Tuesday if they beat Darlington, a game that the pools panel determined was a score draw. Torquay visit Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night too, in a game that could determine Oxford's position.
