Reserves bad hair day

United's reserves lost 2-0 at Barnet this afternoon. Both Paul Tait and Martin Thomas lasted the full 90 minutes, but then so did Mike Ford so that doesn't prove anything! Goals from Neil Midgeley after 11 minutes and Ben Wiper in the second half were enough to defeat United, who fielded a triallist in Dover's 33 year old defender Darren Carr. United only had one real chance, eight minutes after the Bees' opening goal, when Norman Sylla raced clear but shot wide.

There is still no news of yesterday's management meeting, including whether or not it actually took place.
