Rage not offline

From the Rage Online newsdesk Wednesday, May 10th, 2006

It is an unfortunate coincidence that Rage Online going down occurred simultaneously with Oxford United going down, but we're back, and we're sure that United will also be back. The reasons for Rage Online's temporary demise are long and complicated, but suffice to say that, thanks to those kind folk at Active Media Business Solutions, we are now operating on a different server, with a different host, and we are confident that our problems are now behind us and we can look forward to a brighter future.

It will take some time for this site to be rebuilt, and the old sections will appear gradually, including the databank. The message board will probably have to start again from scratch, so our apologies for that but we are sure that, once it's back, the RO community will again be active and vibrant. Please bear with us while we get Rage Online back to its former glory, and beyond.

Future projects include expanding the photo gallery to make it an even better visual resource, including various photos of historical interest, and expanding the databank to cover all of Oxford's professional non-league games, not just the forthcoming ones. Thanks to our loyal readers for staying with us in the past few weeks while we've been unavailable, and for all the (many) messages of support and good wishes. We hope you like the new design. Keep coming back to check out the site's progress.'
