At the OxVox quiz night, held at the Priory and ? this evening, the Rage On team lost its crown. The reigning champions put on a good showing to come second of the seven teams, but lost by just three points to the night’s winning team.

It was a team representing Oxford United who somehow managed to win, with a team featuring luminaries such as Ramon Diaz, Jean-Marc Goiran, and Chris Williams. Their first tournament victory might just be enough to persuade the management team to remain at the club. Our congratulations go to the winners, with no sour grapes at all at the fact that they had about seven people on their team!

We do know that an open meeting, which has been long-sought by OxVox, has been agreed, although the date of the meeting has not yet been confirmed. The club holds its AGM on 18 March, so if there are any announcements to be made it could well be on or around that date.
