With Aldershot unable to field a team, QPR kindly travelled up the M40 to provide the opposition. The sides had met before, resulting in a 4-0 loss for Fever, so we knew that the test would be a tough one.

Fever started well. and contained their opponents in midfield, with Dan Pear and Stuart Burson closing down well. The game itself was a tight one with a minimum of chances for either side. After 20 minutes however, a miskick from James Simpson let through the QPR forward
