Oxford, united

Oxford United are to play all their home reserve matches at Oxford City's Court Place Farm next season, starting with swindon on Wednesday 29th August. Unfortunately all the games are scheduled for 2.00pm on Wednesday afternoons, meaning that attendances will be, at best, sparse. This decision has to be ratified by the Avon Insurance Combination, but is likely to get the go-ahead.

Former U's left back Neil McGowan, who had a trial for United at the end of last season, is currently on trial with Plymouth. Alan McLeary, meanwhile, is teaching the youth of Millwall all about second balls.
