On the lam

Jamie Lambert has left the building. After being unable to agree terms with United Lambert is no longer an Oxford player. According to Kassam the club “made him a very good offer and he turned it down”. This leaves the club with just three left wingers on its books.

Wycombe Wanderers wend their weary way westwards

United have another home tie in the second round of the Auto Windscreen Shield, as Wycombe Wanderers visit the Manor on Tuesday 11th January.

They used to grace the Manor

Millwall won 2-1 at the aforementioned Wycombe, their second goal scored by Paul Moody. Another former Manor scoring legend, Dean Saunders, scored Bradford City's second as they won 2-1 at Crewe. Albion Rovers conceded eight goals at Brechin, their one solitary consolation was somehow scored by Todd Lumsden when the score was 6-0.
