Oh, you know…

David Penney has been confirmed as Doncaster's new permanent manager. Meanwhile, Penney has handed a trial to 21-year-old former United goalkeeper Stuart Nelson. The former Oxford youngster has just returned from playing in the States.

Last night's results have seen United drop one place to 17th following Carlisle's goalless draw at Bristol Rovers. Meanwhile Luton are now just two points behind leaders Plymouth (although they've played two more games) after thrashing Exeter City 3-0. Somehow Halifax managed to beat Kidderminster 1-0, although United should still be safe, shouldn't they? Former United defender Darren Purse scored Birmingham's first goal in their 3-1 win at Bradford City.
