Rupis Emanuel Brevett, born in Derby, was signed in September 2006, initially on a month-by-month contract. He was signed after the transfer window had closed, but this was allowed because Brevett was unattached at the time, having been released from Plymouth Argyle during the summer. After signing on for a second month in October, he then joined for the remainder of the season.
