James Steven Cook, born in Oxford, a product of Oxford`s youth team. He was a slightly lightweight winger, who struggled to make much of an impression, weighed down by the curse of the Rage Online sponsorship honour. Could have become a golf pro, a profession where Rage Online is conspicuous by its absence, and therefore relatively safe, but joined Boston instead. He rejoined Oxford from Crawley on 1 September 2009 in a move funded by the fans' 12th-Man initiative, but he was unable to consolidate a regular first-team place after some poor displays and he left the club by mutual consent at the end of the 2009-10 season, rejoining Crawley.
