Outside left. Died 6 December 2006. Boulton had two spells with Burton Albion and Gresley Rovers in a career spanning 17 years. He was reputed to have one of the hardest shots in football and famously broke the net in a game at Gresley's Moat Ground in the 1960s. Boulton came to the fore as an 11-year-old when he became the youngest player to appear for Burton and South Derbyshire in the English Schools' Shield.
