One of Ramon Diaz`s sons, Ramon Emiliano Diaz, born in Naples, Italy, was nominally a right winger, although his actual performances suggested that football might not be his main vocation. He was certainly full-blooded in the tackle, to the extent that even in training he had to be restrained, and allegedly it was his tackle that led to Jamie Brooks` prolonged injury just as he was due for a comeback. Coupled with the obvious nepotism that led to his selection, he was never going to endear himself to the Oxford supporters, and he remains the main disappointment of United`s Argentine experiment.
