Pauly Pauly Powell was United's longest serving player until he was released at the end of the 2002/03 season, having made his debut a long long time ago, coming up through the ranks. Powelly, born in Wallingford, almost played for England under-21s a few seasons back, but was ill and couldn't make the team. There have been a few doubts about his fitness and concern over his alleged nocturnal habits in the Didcot area, but when he's on form Powelly's pace can take him past any fullback. Fell out of favour under Mark Wright, and criminally played as a left back under the dark days of David Kemp, but in his natural position on the left wing his ability to skin his marker makes him an OUFC legend.
