Richard Wilfred Hill, born Hinckley. Scored on his Oxford debut after signing from Watford for £230,000.
He went on to be assistant manager at Reading, and then joined John Gregory at Wycombe Wanderers. He had a short stint as manager of Stevenage Borough, before spells as assistant at Gillingham and Northampton. He was assistant boss to Brian Little at Tranmere Rovers from 2003 until 2005, where he was linked briefly with the Oxford job following Graham Rix
