Word is that Steve Davis is having a trial with Macclesfield Town. If true, and he passes, this would presumably preclude him from returning to the Manor as has previously been mooted.

Old Boys on the move

Former United midfielder Jon Muttock has made the move from Witney Town to Brackley Town whilst another Witney player, Carl Henry who had a trial at the Manor last season, has signed for Oxford City. Former United skipper John Shuker has joined Milton United as a director, according to Teamtalk, and the John Dreyer move, reported yesterday did have absolutely no substance to it as it was Cambridge, not Oxford, which is interested in the central defender. Meanwhile rumours linking West Brom’s Mark Angel with a move to Kidderminster Harriers have been denied.
