Lundin calling from a faraway town

It transpires that Pål Lundin’s move to Umeå was only a loan and that he has actually signed up for Swedish first division side Trelleborg, who lost 2-0 at home to Gais yesterday. Lundin has signed on an 18 month contract. Many thanks to Save Oxford United for the steer.

United fans can’t put up with deckchair

There’s no doubting which of our many horrendous away kits is the one United fans like least. The red, blue and white stripey deckchair ensemble received 50% of the votes for the kit you thought was the worst we’ve had to endure. The silvery/grey travesty was the second most unpopular, with 27%, whilst the AC Milan style red and black striped affair polled 9%. The all-red Liverpool kit, introduced by Mark Lawrenson achieved 5% whilst the ones which didn’t figure in the voting at all, and therefore presumably people’s favourites, were the variations on the all-white theme.
There’s now a new poll at the Rage Online voting booth to establish who United’s best captain was, seeing as the position is now vacant.
