Two goals from Jefferson Louis, the first after four minutes and the second in the second half, followed a Chris Hackett goal after just seven seconds to give United's reserves a 3-1 win over Bristol City at Court Place Farm. As well as Louis, United featured triallists Sam Okikolu, a defender from Wimbledon, and Glen Thomas, an Australian midfielder currently on Sorrento's books. Albano Correia scored City's consolation in first half injury time.
