Looking forward to going away

United will be hoping that their away form continues tomorrow night when they visit promotion rivals Bury for the rearranged fixture. It's certain that if Oxford are to challenge for promotion they cannot rely on their patchy home form, but their form away from home has, apart from a couple of occasions, been phenomenal.

Andy Woodman came through Saturday's game unscathed and so should continue in goal, as Alan Judge will be attending his mother's funeral. Up front the news that Lee Steele is out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament knee injury is good news for Steve Basham, who should continue in the side, probably alongside Andy Scott following Jefferson Louis' less than impressive display against Macclesfield. We expect Andy Crosby to continue in the centre of defence, although the reasons for his subsitution on Saturday are still unclear. Otherwise there is little reason to anticipate any changes.

Bury's form has been inconsistent of late, their 2-0 win over Lincoln on Saturday their first win in five games, since beating Bournemouth at home on the 1st March. That in turn was their first home win since New Year's Day and they have slipped down to the edge of the play-off zone from looking like major contenders for automatic promotion. Bury will be looking to avenge United's 2-1 win on the opening day of the season, and here at Rage Online we suspect that they will do so, probably to the tune of 2-0 or so.
