The younger brother of former Finland striker Shefki Kuqi, Albert, is currently on trial at Oxford United.
The 22 year-old forward was training with the Yellows Thursday morning after manager Michael Appleton allowed the Finn to train with the Us for a few sessions.
Albert last played in his native country for Klubi 04, scoring in his debut against FC Espoo.
“Albert Kuqi is coming in for a few days,” explained Appleton.
“He’s a younger brother of Shefti so we just said we’d have a little look at him.”
United will cast a watchful eye over the young striker after former loanees Carlton Morris and Alex Jakubiak were recalled from their loan spells at the Kassam Stadium by Norwich City and Watford respectively.
If his sibling’s trademark celebrations are anything to go by, Albert could prove to be a giant leap in the right direction.
