Raging Fever 4 Kidderminster Fans 5

Report filed by James Longshaw

Raging Fever signed off 2007 with yet another defeat against their old adversaries from the West Midlands. In a game which almost mirrored the away match of a month ago, Fever will feel unlucky not to have got a win.

Fever came into the game with confidence, as unlike the previous encounter they actually had substitutes and also a strong looking squad. Stand-in manager Rob Muskett was looking for his first win, and it looked as though it was possible when, as early as the fifth minute, Fever took the lead. Good work from James Simpson on the left gave Steve Fuller a free shot from 10 yards, which was dispatched emphatically. Within minutes though, Fever were behind in a frantic open period. With their first real attack, the visitors leveled when a striker got clean through and placed the ball to keeper Danny Wells
