Oxford United have signed striker Mehdi Kerrouche from arch-rivals Swindon Town. The Algerian forward joins the Yellows on a one-month emergency loan deal to cover injuries to Tom Craddock, Alfie Potter and Jon-Paul Pittman.

News of Kerrouches signature was tainted, however, by the news that Pittman has been ruled out for around four weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.
