After today's Division Four results, United have dropped four places to 16th. Burton Albion's 3-1 win over fifth-bottom Southend United took them above Oxford into 12th place; Gillingham, who have now won three away games on the trot having failed to win on the road for 18 months before their 1-0 win at the Kas, won 4-2 at 10th-placed Macclesfield to go 13th; Bradford City are up to 14th after beating bottom side Hereford United 1-0; and Northampton Town's 1-0 win at 11th-placed Stevenage takes them up to 15th place.

Chesterfield have taken over at the top of the table, their 1-0 win over seventh-placed Torquay United taking them above Port Vale, who lost 1-0 at 19th-placed Morecambe. Bury stay third, despite losing 1-0 at sixth-placed Wycombe Wanderers. Rotherham United are up to fourth after beating Aldershot Town 1-0, to leave the Shots in 17th place, while United's next opponents (weather permitting), Shrewsbury Town, needed a late equaliser to snatch a draw against eighth-placed Cheltenham Town, but still dropped to fifth.

At the other end of the table, Barnet remain second from bottom despite beating 18th-placed Accrington Stanley 2-0 at Underhill. Stockport County remain 21st, one place above Lincoln City, after they drew 3-3 at home to ninth-placed Crewe Alexandra.

The only ex-U to score in the Football League was Hudderfield Town's Jordan Rhodes, who scored the equaliser for the Terriers as they came from behind to beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1. Craig McAllister was on target for Crawley Town as they beat Dartford 3-2 in the FA Trophy first round. And that, as they say, is that.
