Oxford United defender David Hunt has joined Conference leaders Barnet on loan until the end of January.
The 32 year-old right-back has made only four starts for the Yellows this season following the arrival of Joe Riley from Bolton Wanderers.
Since joining United from Crawley Town back in June 2013, Hunt has played 57 games for the Us, although his last appearance under boss Michael Appleton was almost two months ago in Oxford’s 1-1 draw at Exeter City.
Hunt joins Tom Newey in becoming the second defender to leave the Kassam Stadium on loan this week after the left-back was requited with former manager Chris Wilder at Northampton Town.
He could make his Bees debut when Barnet travel to Welling United tomorrow afternoon, where fellow Oxford loanee Tyrone Marsh could be lining up against him.
