Hijacked by Gills

From the Rage Online newsdesk Tuesday, June 28th, 2005

In this morning’s draw for the first round of the Carling Cup, United were not drawn at home to Reading. Surprisingly, due to some sort of administrative error, Oxford were drawn away to Gillingham, the League’s only Kents.

This is arguably the worst draw United could have received. Gillingham are about the furthest seeded team in the southern half of the draw, they have just been relegated from the second division, and their ground boasts the worst away toilets we’ve ever experienced. Glamourous it is not. The game will take place during the week commencing 22 August.

In other news, nothing’s happened.
