Gray joins the tea party

Phil Gray has become the latest in a long line of United players to join Boston United, starting a month-long loan spell, with an option to make the move permanent. Gray becomes the first of a number of players to leave the club to make way for possible new signings and his departure comes as no surprise since the arrival of Paul Mooody has sidelined the Northern Ireland international. Gray joins the Weatherstones, Jamie Cooke and Mark Angel as part of the United contingent now in Lincolnshire.

Other players rumoured to be imminently on the way out of Oxford are Robert Quinn, Paul Powell and injury victims Jon Shepheard, Darren Patterson and Joey Beauchamp. Beauchamp, though, has just had an operation on his broken foot and will be out of action for about ten weeks and so is unlikely to move soon, if at all. Meanwhile if Rob Folland leaves the club Rage On would have to sponsor someone else, poor fool!
