Chester had to postpone their first two games of the season when the FA stepped in after the Conference broke their own rules after giving the Cheshire club permission to play, albeit with a 25-point deduction. Following a meeting between the FA and the Conference on Thursday the FA relented and allowed Cheshire to take their place, although they fined the Conference
