Foster child?

Foster child?

The main contender for understudy goalkeeper at the Manor is apparently Alan Foster, hero of Oxford City’s FA Cup encounter against Wycombe last season. Also strongly tipped is former Aston Villa ‘keeper Nigel Spink although whoever it is will be a free transfer as United, as ever, have no spare dosh.

Manor entry? No idea, Watson

The latest in the ongoing Mark Watson saga is that the Canadian centre-back is due back in Oxford to sign his three year contract sometime in the next week. He must return sometime as his SAAB has been stuck outside his flat for the past two months and is presumably in need of a good run out.

Stein – mad as a hatter!

Mark Stein, poised to put pen to paper with Swansea, could change his mind and return to Luton now that Lenny Lawrence has been sacked. Favourite for the manager’s job is former Town player Ricky Hill, and Stein is a possibility to be his right hand man.
