Former United hero, goalkeeper Jim Barron, has been appointed goalkeeping coach at Cheltenham, doubtless just in time to ensure they keep a clean sheet on April 13th. Barron used to manage Cheltenham. Another former Oxford goalie, Arjan Van Heusden, is on trial at Walsall and is also rumoured to be interesting West Brom.

Winger Paul Simpson has completed a move from Blackpool to Rochdale, where he has signed a one-year contract. Simmo made a substitute appearance in the LDV Trophy Final on Sunday when Blackpool beat Cambridge United.
