Fever suffer from a late hornet sting

Raging Fever 1 Watford Supporters 2

Report filed by John Matthews

Raging Fever lined up on a wet June morning to face Watford. With both teams travelling to Worldnet in two weeks time, this friendly had been arranged as a warm-up for the tournament. Fever had lost narrowly 2-1 at Watford earlier in the season and were seeking revenge.

The match started in a cagey manner, and it was apparent from early in the proceedings that this was not going to be a goalfest. Both defences were in control, with the Fever back four of Martin Brodetsky, Rob Muskett, Nick Holloway, and Steve Gilbert holding fast. In the first half hour of the game there was little to report in terms of goal-mouth action
